Carlson Snow
CARLSON LINE SNOW (Designer)
In 1997 Jorden Perrett sent his "as yet unproven” Borrego Anerythristic female, on a breeding loan to Keith Carlson. Over a three year period Carlson produced a number of potential Double Hets for snow by breeding her to a Whitewater albino. In 2001 Carlson successfully produced the first recognized "Snow" rosy boa. Although not the mythical white snake they had hoped for, it was in fact an actual expression of the albino and anerythristic genes combined.
The Carlson line Snow starts out just slightly lighter in appearance than its whitewater albino siblings. Like the Borrego Anerythristic, the Snow's very dark eye color is usually the indicator setting it apart from albino siblings in a litter. As the Snow matures its overall color lightens considerably and upon reaching adulthood becomes a light cream pearlescent colored boa with faint peach colored pigment present in its stripes and speckling.
